Coffin Sellers Refuse To Replace Agagu’s Casket After N5million Was Offered For Replacement Of The Damaged Gold Casket

Posted on Updated on

Efforts to buy another casket after the gold one bearing the remains of former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Agagu, was retrieved from the crash site were rebuffed by coffin sellers,Saturday Independent has revealed.
According to a reliable source, “some members of the Agagu Burial Planning Committee and close family associates were seen making frantic efforts all morning to buy another casket from Lagos sellers but they were snubbed.”

Saturday Independent gathered that as much as N5million was offered for the replacement of the damaged gold casket which was supplied by MIC undertakers to some of the sellers around the city but they had all agreed through telephone contacts that no one should sell another casket to the family especially with the death of the Managing Director of MIC, Tunji Okusanya, and his first son in the crash.

According to our source, “Casket sellers and undertakers in the state had all been previously warned through an earlier prediction by a spiritualist of an impeding tragedy, following the sudden death of the late governor during a political meeting in Lagos.
“In fact, many signals had been received suggestive that his death was ‘mysterious’ and that it would definitely cause some confusion and so when the crash occurred in the morning of Thursday, it was natural that no one would be willing to sell another casket to the family,” the source said.

Eight Reasons You Are Still Single

Posted on Updated on

You may be enjoying your freedom too much or simply be afraid of commitment.

1. Your standards are too high.

One of the most frequent reasons why some women are still single is because they set the bar too high. It’s great to have high standards. Under no circumstances should you settle for less than you deserve. However, make sure your standards are realistic.

2. You’re too negative.

Are you pessimistic or do you always find something to complain about? Such an attitude would certainly explain why you are still single. No man is going to want a relationship with a woman who is never pleased or who sees the world through dark-tinted glasses.

3. You’re going after the wrong guy.

It’s the old story. Many women are still single because they’re constantly going after the wrong guy. If you find yourself constantly drawn to the charming debonair type of man, bear in mind such men love the thrill of the chase and will definitely not be in it for the long haul.

4. You’re not a good listener.

Most of us don’t know how to listen. You should take in not only what people say, but also how they say it – body language, tone, eye contact, etc. More often than not, what is conveyed non-verbally is more important than what is actually said.

5. You don’t take care of yourself.

Trust us, men do care about this. We’re not saying you should look straight out of a photo shoot, but basic things like keeping fit, wearing nice clothes and a bit of makeup do help. If your usual look is a casual outfit and no makeup, don’t ask yourself why you’re still single.

6. You’re hung up on an ex.

A common reason why some women are still single is the fact they haven’t given up on an ex. Whether you’re still seeing him on and off or still fantasize about him, being hung up on an ex is preventing you from opening up to the promise of a new relationship.

7. You’re being judgmental and insecure.

Men do not feel at ease around women who are judgmental of other people. Such an attitude is usually an expression of insecurity, which is certainly not an appealing quality in either sex.

8. You don’t actually want a relationship.

Whether you admit it or not, you may actually be still single because, deep down, that’s how you prefer it. You may be enjoying your freedom too much or simply be afraid of commitment.

What worths more- PHONE or BODY??

Posted on Updated on

Well, this an article for ladies generally and no one should take this personally……#just saying

Girls of today would never seize to amuse me.
They hold the most expensive phones and because they know their worth, if you check the phones, well covered with a phone-cover.
Check the screen, its well guarded with a screen guard.
Check even the keys, they are well protected with a keypad-protector. And ironically, they walk the streets with their bodies well exposed.
WHY????….Its either the phones are worth more than your bodies or you are yet to recognize your worth as ladies………
Hmm, just my little observation.

The Worst Obituary Written For A Dead Mother By Her Kids Because She Was Evil While Alive

Posted on Updated on

A Reno woman by the name Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick, born January 4, 1935, died last month, amazingly, to the relief and comfort of her children whom she spent a lifetime (in their words) “torturing in every way possible.”

Those children, now grown, marked her passing by submitting the most chilling obituary you will ever read to her local newspaper, the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Here’s the obituary’s full text, culled from Gawker.

Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick born Jan 4, 1935 and died alone on Aug. 30, 2013. She is survived by her 6 of 8 children whom she spent her lifetime torturing in every way possible.

While she neglected and abused her small children, she refused to allow anyone else to care or show compassion towards them. When they became adults she stalked and tortured anyone they dared to love. Everyone she met, adult or child was tortured by her cruelty and exposure to violence, criminal activity, vulgarity, and hatred of the gentle or kind human spirit.

On behalf of her children whom she so abrasively exposed to her evil and violent life, we celebrate her passing from this earth and hope she lives in the after-life reliving each gesture of violence, cruelty, and shame that she delivered on her children.
Her surviving children will now live the rest of their lives with the peace of knowing their nightmare finally has some form of closure.

Most of us have found peace in helping those who have been exposed to child abuse and hope this message of her final passing can revive our message that abusing children is unforgiveable, shameless, and should not be tolerated in a “humane society”.

Perry's Tots

I’m glad I started this because I’ve been postponing writing for so long. I decided to finally start after gathering so much determination and boldness.

Is there something you’ve really wanted to do and you’ve been postponing like I used to, I encourage you to ‘Just do it!’

Is there a place you really want to visit and you’ve probably been giving yourself reasons why you can’t; perhaps you think you’re too busy, I want to remind you that you’ve got just one life, so like me, ‘Just do it!’

Is there a book you got and have not read aside your textbooks, I advice you to take the dust off it and ‘Just do it!’

Is there a dream you have and has been within you, you’ll be amazed at how many people are waiting for you to come out of the closet and unveil yourself, so, ‘Just do…
